KIDA IS FROM A TIME LOOP AU. In his AU, Mikado died and in order to save him Kida willingly entered a contract under the condition that he would continue to repeat time starting with Mikado's arrival in Ikebukuro until he could save him. Dying himself was not an option. After 100 loops (technically timeline hops) and roughly 150 years of accumulated time, sharing the loop with Izaya and later Aoba for reasons I will explain if you ask me to, Kida was offered an out: Court. In a fit of despair and cowardice he gave up on winning the game and took it! But since Mikado's here he's gonna be pretty a. guilt-ridden and b. fiaxted on him.

PINGS: Though he was not able to bring items or physical progress between timelines, he was able to bring mental progress. This included knowledge, muscle memory and other brain-related things, so he's very practised at hurting people with things like pipes and crowbars and pocket knives. If your character is the type to deeply analyze body language or something they might pick up "hey this kid's a killer not a happy 16 year old" off of him when he thinks he's not being watched. There's also a possibility of recognising that his soul is like 150 years older than he looks or smth idk.

PERMISSIONS: Kida is a normal human outside of learned skills! He has no magical powers or anything!
